Pampering Early Mental Health and Emotional Development
Meet Our Talented and Compassionate Therapist,
Jesse Weisel, LMHC, BC-DMT, NCC
A note from Jesse:
Watching your child struggle can be heartbreaking and elicit feelings of helplessness. When this happens, we want to do everything in our power to take away their pain so the suffering can end. Finding a therapist who has experience with the ever-changing needs of children and adolescents can itself be a challenge. The daily demands our youth are facing can be confusing and overwhelming for parents.
I acknowledge that every situation is unique, as well as the environment that leads to unhealthy coping mechanisms. This is why I take a holistic approach to therapy. Nothing exists in a vacuum. Therefore, I have found it helpful to not only look at the outward reaction to events causing concern, but also at other factors that may be involved. This approach helps me tailor interactions to individual needs and focus on the areas of highest concern.

How We Work With Children & Adolescents

Improve Communication
Through a combination of active listening, empathy, and specialized techniques, our therapists will facilitate open and honest dialogue. By creating a safe and non-judgmental space, we encourage children & adolescents to express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns, leading to a deeper understanding of themselves and the source of their feelings and thoughts.
Resolve Conflict
Our therapists help children and adolescents navigate and resolve internal conflicts as well as conflicts with family members or adults. We assist in identifying the root causes of the conflict, which helps the child or adolescent gain insight into their feelings and perspectives. Additionally, therapists offer practical tools and coping strategies tailored to the individual's age and developmental stage. By fostering open communication and providing a non-judgmental environment, we empower young individuals to work through their conflicts, promoting healthy relationships and emotional well-being.

Parental Support
We believe supporting parents through the therapeutic process a key factor in successfully treating children and adolescents. Our providers will always allow time and space for parents to express their concerns and ask questions about their child’s health. Parents can expect to receive detailed education, resources, and tools and techniques related to challenges their child is facing so they can be best equipped to provide support at home.
Other Ways We Help Children & Adolescents

Evaluations
We are able to evaluate your child’s presenting symptoms to make necessary diagnosis such as ADHD, generalized anxiety, clinical depression, OCD, and eating disorders.

Life Transitions
Our team provides support during life transitions like relocation and divorce by helping children & adolescents navigate the challenges and adjustments that come with these changes.

Overcoming Past Trauma
We use specialized techniques like trauma-focused therapy to guide in processing and understanding the impact of past traumatic experiences to help rebuild a sense of safety and trust.
